About Dr Lorenz Larcher

Priv.-Doz. Dr med. Lorenz Larcher is a specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. His main areas of expertise include aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, minimally invasive surgical procedures, regenerative therapies and microsurgical reconstruction.

 

Qualifications and clinical experience

After completing his medical studies, Dr Larcher trained as a specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Reconstructive Microsurgery from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His academic career led to his habilitation and the award of the Venia Legendi at Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg.

For several years, Dr Larcher headed the regional Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service of the South Tyrol Health Authority. In this role, he combined surgical practice and medical leadership with the further development of reconstructive and microsurgical procedures.

Today, Dr Larcher combines his clinical experience with modern treatment concepts designed to preserve tissue wherever medically appropriate. As a certified practitioner of Mia® and Preservé™, he has a particular interest in procedures that aim to preserve natural anatomical structures as much as possible.
